We offer a wide variety of barista courses ranging from beginners to seasoned baristas looking to refine their skills. If you cannot find a suitable course below please reach out and we’ll gladly tailor a course to your requirements.

Full Coffee Tasting

Cupping of 6 coffees (a combination of single origins and blends) and a tasting of espresso, milk based beverages and manually brewed coffee. R300 per person, minimum of 2 people per tasting, maximum of 10 people. Running time of around 2 hours. Groups of more than 4 people, R250pp.

Home Barista Course

A brief discussion and tasting of different manual brewing methods as well as an introduction to espresso and milk steaming. Perfect for somebody wanting to make better coffee with their home-brewing equipment. R600pp, maximum of 6 people per course. Running time of 2 hours.

Group Introductory Barista course

A brief introduction to the history of coffee, coffee theory, extraction theory, sensory analysis, drink preparation, espresso/milk and manually brewed coffee prep and tasting. Perfect for those wanting to learn more than the average coffee lover, gain a true insight into what makes coffee taste the way it does and how to get the best results from of your Espresso machine. R750pp minimum of 3 people, maximum of 6. Running time of 4 hours.

Group Professional Barista Course

Taking place over the course of 4 days, this course is a Comprehensive theoretical and practical insight into the history of coffee, extraction theory, sensory analysis, drink preparation, espresso making, milk steaming and manual brewing as well as a discussion on service etiquette. For those looking to pursue a career in coffee or develop as a professional. R4500pp. Minimum of 2 people, maximum of 4 people per course.
